Order of the Horse

Medieval and multi period group based in Australia. A 2nd-to 6th  Saracen & Western Crusades, mixed with mercenaries of mixed origins,  Mongolian, late 14thc,very early 15thc and early 19thc Napoleonic mounted combat re-enactment group.

 

Order of the Horse founded in the year of the Horse.The Order is made up of elite members both knights, soldiers, nobles and mercenaries of mixed origins portraying the late 14thc,early 15thc, Middle East, Western ,Orient,the 2nd -6th Crusades of the late 12thc , early 13thc aswell as the early 19thc Napoleonic wars.The riders and their horses are specially trained in mounted and foot combat.The Order comprises of all nationalities of both era's including the Saracens, Moors,Mongolians, Mercenaries, European Knights , soldiers, squires and the men & women of the 2nd -6th crusades ,the late 14thc,very early 15thc and early 19thc Napoleonic.The Order of the Horse was founded by a vetran knight and head Napoleonic cavalry rider whose dream was to bring living history to the future .Each member of the Order of the Horse has something to give with an array of talented horses, riders, falconists,combat fighters,archers and ladies.Order of the Horse are vetrans and specialise in Napoleonic cavalry from the early 19thc  aswell as Medieval cavalry.The Order of the Horse can take you back in time and brings to you the history of the Horse and the history of mounted combat of its warriors of the 2nd-6th crusades and late 14thc,very early 15thc and 19thc Napoleonic wars.The group is based in Australia but has members all around the world and in Australia and Queensland.The Order of the Horse is based in Queensland North of Brisbane.

 

Order of the Horse based in Queensland meet and train every 2nd Sunday at 1.30pm to 5pm at L'Cavaliers-Viciente riding crack school in Upper Caboolture for Equestrian combat and SAA.

11am -2pm Cabooltures Farmers Assembly Hall  Workshops,Upper Caboolture 3rd Sunday each month.

1030pm-2.30pm OOTH Horse Encampment Abbey Medieval Festival Grounds every 1st Sunday of month. combat and archery.
