Akbar is a Kurdish archer, he is cavalry ,but unlike the Turk's and turcomons looses most his arrows from stationary horse or from the ground as is their custom.He is a marksman with his bow.His respect was earnt through success in 3 campaigns in Egypt commanded by Salah-ad-Din's uncle Shirkuh.The third of these campaigns ended in 1169 with Shirkuh's army in control of Egypt, but soon after this Shirkhuh died and Slah-ad-Din took over and became Vizer of Egypt and commander of the Eygptian army. Akbar's loyalty and reputation had not gone un noticed by the Sultan and he was summoned into his service.Akbar was head of the Kurdish archers ons one of  Salah-ad-Din's personal gaurds.
